About Waikawa Blueberries
Waikawa Blueberries is an organic certified pick-your-own blueberry farm run by Lisa Buchan and Glenn Wigley on Waikawa Beach Road, on the Kapiti and Horowhenua border near Manakau. Alongside blueberries the farm has grown an award winning olive oil, Waikawa Glen, and has sold organic free range eggs and other stonefruit and pipfruit in season. Picking has previously run over summer on weekends. The farm's own website could not be read directly at the time of checking, and the most detailed independent account found, a national radio interview with the owners, is now several years old, so current 2026 to 2027 season opening details are not confirmed from a first party source and should be checked directly before visiting.
